August - The Bar is in!

Mr. Alex is working furiously on the basement these days. You can really see a lot of progress. Rob is hooking up his new HD tivo now. He's talking about moving in down there! Uh oh..no way Rob!

Weekend Fun

We had a party in the neighborhood yesterday. Nice & relaxing. Emma in her princess dress in the afternoon (she did NOT dress as a princess at the party.) Not sure if R. or M. is the princess in THEIR photo!

More progress in the basesment

The work continues, with tile delivered this week. Walls are being painted & doors are being installed. Still waiting on the granite, but there seems to be a LOT of progress!

There is a little, 2-burner range under that plastic.. A microwave will go above the range.

The basement has colors & counters now

This is going to be the room w/ Pergo & pool table.
Big tv is on the wall, and shelves for components & videos.

This is the corner of the kitchennette. There will be a sink place right in the corner (see the pipes underneath the formica?)

This is the vanity in the bathroom. Soon there will be the same granite countertop that we have upstairs.

Another view of the kitchenette. Microwave will be in the gap. Little stove (2 burner) will be underneath the microwave. The doors on the lower cabinets open to reveal pull-out shelves.
